Application

Once you’ve found a vacancy you’re interested in applying for you’ll need to submit your application. To apply for a role with us, you will need to tell us a little about yourself. This will include:

  • Name and contact information
  • Your latest CV.

You can sign up with your Social Media account including Google, LinkedIn and Facebook.

Acknowledgement

Once we have received your application, you will receive an automatic email to acknowledge your application. Please check your junk folder if it hasn’t come through.

Phone interview

Some of our roles, including our frontline Care Assistant and Support Worker roles, will require a telephone interview. If you have applied for one of these roles, expect to receive a phone call from us. If we cannot reach you, we will send you a link to book a telephone call with us a member of our team.

Please note for some of our roles including those in our corporate teams, you may not hear from us until after the closing date once we have completed the shortlisting process.

Face-to-face interview

If you do have a telephone interview and are successful, after this you will be invited to a competency-based face-to-face interview. For some roles we may undertake an initial virtual interview via Microsoft Teams, or just invite you in for a face-to-face straight away. There may sometimes also be additional interviews depending on the role.

Offer

Following a successful face-to-face interview, you will receive a verbal offer followed by a conditional offer of employment in writing.

Pre-employment checks

We will then undertake your pre-employment checks including references and DBS if applicable to your role.

Through your ECL Careers account, you will gain access to an onboarding portal where you will be able to complete all your onboarding paperwork before you start.
