ECL 10th anniversary and awards celebration
ECL (Essex Cares Limited), the largest care provider in Essex, is marking its 10th anniversary with celebrations and award ceremonies for customers with learning disabilities and the staff that support them.
The first of four celebrations in total, will be held on the 3 and 4 of October 2019 for the South and Mid regions of Essex in a grand marquee on the beautiful lawns of ECL Greenacres, Great Baddow. On the 24 October, it will be the West region’s turn to celebrate at the Harlow Hotel, with celebrity, Jeff Brazier set to present the awards, and on the 14 November the North awards will take place at Moot Hall, in Colchester Town Hall.
The event will see ECL customers, their friends, family and ECL staff members enjoy afternoon tea, dancing and entertainment in an ‘80’s theme’.
An awards ceremony hosted by Keir Lynch, CEO of ECL, and board members will honour the outstanding achievements of both customers and staff.
Customers have been key to the planning of these events, they have been involved every step of the way from choosing the theme of the event and selecting the award categories, to compiling the play list for the DJ.
It is fantastic to see everyone at ECL so excited and involved in the planning of our 10th anniversary celebrations. It is a great opportunity to recognise the achievements of both our customers and the incredible staff that work with them.
ECL was established by Essex County Council in 2009 as the UK’s first Local Authority Trading Company, providing care and support in South East England for residents at home and in local communities.
