Learning Disabilities

As part of an Essex County Council initiative with RETHINK Partners, ECL has been issued with 350 Alcove Carephones.

Staff have been utilising different forms of technology in order to stay regularly connected with customers.

On Thursday 24th October, ECL (Essex Cares Ltd) held a huge party to celebrate the achievements of adults with learning disabilities from the West Essex area.

ECL’s Mid Essex Day Opportunities joined forces with Sir John Payne school on Friday 18 October to host a fantastic Art Gallery at Columbus College in Chelmsford.

Our ECL customer attended the third anniversary celebration of the GROW community garden, where they were presented with certificates by the Mayor of Loughton.

Well done Lawrence St George, a customer at our ECL Basildon Day Centre, for completing the Get Started with Firebreak course organised by the Prince’s Trust and Essex County Fire & Rescue Service.
