Community care jobs
Many of our Community Care roles are within our short-term home care service, also known as our ‘Reablement service’, which focuses on supporting recovery at home.
This process is different for every customer, and it is down to our team to assess customer needs and provide tailored support to facilitate recovery. We're looking for individuals who share our values and passion to make a positive difference to people’s lives throughout their community.
To be considered for a Community Care role, you need:
- the right to work in the UK without the requirement for sponsorship
- a full and valid driving licence
- a vehicle with business insurance to travel
Some of our Community Care roles include:
Community Care Assistant (CCA)
As a Community Care Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work in a fulfilling role that is key to helping our customers regain their independence and continue living in their own home. This could include helping clients to relearn skills in their lives, such as personal care, mobility and preparing meals.
You don’t need to have any previous experience as we will provide you with all the training you need.
Resource Planner
Our Resource Planners are an integral part of the care team.
You will be scheduling and managing the rotas for our care staff, responding to and resolving queries quickly and effectively depending on the needs of the service. This is a great way to be part of a caring team if you prefer not to take on direct caregiving responsibilities.
Experience working in a care environment would be advantageous but is not essential.
Field Care Supervisor (Trusted Assessor)
If you’re a carer looking for your next step on the career ladder, this is a great place to start.
Our Trusted Assessors within Community Care engage with customers in a variety of settings, carrying out initial assessments, outcome focused support planning, and subsequent customer reviews to maximise their independence and achieve individualised goals. A care qualification and experience are essential as you will use this previous knowledge to support our customers.
Local Business/Care Manager (LBM)
This position is an excellent fit for individuals with care experience who are keen on moving into a leadership role or leveraging their existing leadership experience.
You’ll be empowering and motivating a team of Community Care Assistants ensuring they deliver the highest possible standard of care and support.
